We are a local church in Riverside, California, with a heart to see our city transformed by the power and presence of God. Jesus is our King, and we worship Him with everything we have. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is our foundation, our authority, and our guide for how we live, love, lead, and pursue revival in our generation. Our prayer is the prayer Jesus taught us: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10 We don’t want to simply attend church—we want to be the Church. We believe God has called us to be a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, and multiplying church where people from every background can encounter Jesus, discover their purpose, be equipped for ministry, and be sent into the world. We believe revival doesn’t stop inside the walls of a church building. It must reach our families, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, cities, and nations. That’s why our vision is bigger than one location. We will make disciples. We will raise leaders. We will send missionaries. We will plant churches. We will serve our city. We will reach the nations. Our heart is to carry the light of Jesus into every sphere of society and every place God sends us. We are believing for a generation awakened to Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, grounded in Scripture, passionate about prayer, and ready to live on mission. This is The Avenue Church. LOVE. TRAIN.
