Relationships are created, bonds are developed, and community is built. We have growth groups available for any age, life stage, or season you are walking through.
At the AVENUE we desire to see each person grow no matter what age and what background. Whether you have been walking with God for years or are just starting your journey with faith, we are here to walk with you. We have growth groups for all ages and throughout the week. Some groups meet in homes and some groups meet at the church. We believe that going deeper with God and deeper with each other is the best way for people to grow in their faith.

Young Adult Group
Wednesdays at 6:30pm at the church.
Women’s Group
Wednesdays at 6:30pm at the church.
Men’s Group
Wednesdays at 6:30pm at the church.
Family Group
Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Kids in the Childrens Center, youth in the Youth Center and adults in the Worship Center.
Seniors Group
2nd Thursday of the Month at 11:30am at the church in the Fellowship Hall.
House Church
Thursdays at 6:30pm at Pastor Serena’s house. You can join in person or zoom in virtually.

At the AVENUE we believe that we can make a difference in the lives of others. We have a heart for our community and for the least of these. We desire to see each person live out the call that God has placed on their lives by using their spiritual gifts to serve others and to make Kingdom impact. We have monthly and ongoing opportunities for people to serve in various ways.
Love Riverside
Love Riverside’s vision is to inspire generosity that brings love in action to Riverside. They do this through hosting city-wide serve days, inspiring ongoing volunteerism, collaborating with leaders & communicating city & neighborhood events that show all the great things happening in our city.
Rebirth Homes
Rebirth Homes exists to redeem the lives of human trafficking victims through a holistic healing approach that combines spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental healing in a 24-month program.
Faith in Motion/Foster All
Faith in Motion is an initiative in Riverside County connecting faith-based groups to the County’s social service agency. FosterAll recruits prospective resource/foster parents from faith communities and provides ongoing support to these heroic families so that they can provide safe and loving homes for the thousands of children who have been abused and neglected.
Serving Globally
International Child Care Ministries (India)
ICCM partners with the global Free Methodist Church to provide food, love, and education for thousands of children in 33 different countries.
Empowering Lives International (Africa)
Partner your church family with Empowering Lives to IGNITE WORLD-CHANGERS in Africa who will EMBRACE Christ, CRUSH generational poverty, and MULTIPLY their transformation for village-wide impact!
Dennis and Kyle Leone (Costa Rica)
Dennis and Kyle Leon moved to Esterillos, Costa Rica, with a vision to see everyone in every community have access to a living church by multiplying disciples, workers and churches. God has used them to lead to Christ and disciple many new believers, resulting in a multiplying network of churches and home groups. They also assist communities in improving their physical well-being through counseling, job training, microfinance, tutoring, scholarships, medical assistance, emergency aid, work opportunities, and children’s centers.
